20071215 - Beavis, Kipp & Clint - super duct tape (43s)

Clint got this "super duct tape" (aka "military-grade duct tape" or "NASCAR tape" as the pool table people called it) at the Ranger Surplus Store in Tysons for $11/roll. THERE'S NO GOING BACK. This tape makes duct tape look like scotch tape. For the first time ever, the shelf in our fridge that keeps falling off every 6 months (with normal duct tape) is more or less permanently fixed (with super duct tape -- you can even open and close the fridge by grabbing the detatched shelf now!). I now consider normal duct tape only valid for temporarily situations -- like securing a bundle for transport. I don't think I'll ever look at normal duct tape the same way again. It's a cheap bastardization. It actually takes almost ALL my strength just to peel the tape, and I usually have to use scissors to cut it (I don't use scissors with normal duct tape). It sticks so hard that it's really hard to get off, if you mistakenly put it somewhere. This stuff is HARDCORE. ...It also makes a great cat toy! Clint, Kipp. playing. This song is one great example of the essence of man's inhereted and misunderstood lust for VIOLENCE. TESTOSTERONE comes down hard on the MALE psyche in ways that, simply put, is beyond FEMALE's level of comprehension. Both sexes fall into the same old STEREOTYPES, socialized from birth to fit neatly into MACHO categories or GIRLY categories, or nowadays, the GIRLY-MEN in between that wear girl pants and eyeliner when they go to the disco to shake their hot pants to bands like modest mouse and the cure,but say they do it for the ladies. I've actually heard a lot of FEMALES and GIRLY-MEN often say, "MEH,METALLICA ARE SO 80S, MOVE ON," to my CHAGRIN and DISBELIEF! Should we also burn those dusty old Picasso Paintings then? Or how about those moldy old Constitution Declarations? Perhaps we should just tear down that cliche old Eiffel Tower? put a starbucks at the Pyramids of Egypt, forget about Beethoven entirely because he's so passe along with all those other classical icons. What happened in the early 80s with HEAVY METAL and Metallica was not a fad, it was not a trend, it was not disposable in any sense at all, sure a lot of the TV & Radio hype won over plenty of TREND LEECHES but they soon 'grew out of it' and listened to floppy ACCESSIBLE FASHIONISTA-ROCK or what is usually referred to as BACKGROUND music while they crunch the numbers at the office, but hey, the ladies seem to like it, so it's 'cool' and 'stuff'. Of course, there are exceptions to all rules and there are these rare men and women out there who do have a more balanced outlook on life and are generally not sucked into what the fashion moguls and the Mindfuck-TV trendsetters have to say about what this weeks' hot ticket is, so don't be too discouraged and don't stop the good fight. TESTOSTERONE is not such a bad thing after all, it helped to create plenty of master pieces out there even if the general estrogen charged non-believers will always fail to acknowledge true genius unless it's advertised up the knobhole. Metallica's first four albums will always be a testament to testosterone SUPREMACY at it's finest. So Thrash ON. NOW by testosterone supremacy I don't mean to condone that all men should go out and support things like NASCAR, sit around and talk about the NFL or the NBA or do all the stereotypical low-brow activities that somehow have become traditions in western culture. Sports fanatics are essentially empty vessels that follow the herd of other 'bimbo-fied'- men out there that don't know what to do with their free time, sure playing sports is fun but why obsess over some players on television who would hate you if they knew you? they don't represent YOUR city, they don't care about nobody but their big egos and their ridiculously huge salaries. Why do we hold athletes at such high esteem in our culture? have you bothered to analyze that at all? this one i'm on the female's side of the spectrum. Wigger culture and the testosterone effect also has a tremendous setback for evolution, it's like watching what CRO-MAGNONs would do if they were somehow defrosted from the polar caps and set loose on modern american culture, this is exactly what's going on right now, and it's more TRAGIC than anything in history. Metal is not for the low-brow crowd, it is for the intelligent and clear minded individuals who understand the meaning of life and the evolutionary value at this point in time. So quit with the beavis & buthead stereotypes please. You'll also notice that Terminator 3 was pretty much the only movie where they could get away with the premise of a man slamming a female about in a public restroom, which makes it very metal. So remember: Creativity + Evolution = Metal If Lars or anyone in Suit&Tie Corp is offended by my fan tribute video, I can assure you I am not making a penny out of it and I will gladly take it down if it's going to be a problem for the future of the stockholders involved.Thank you and have a pleasant profit.

A Jobromance (A Jonas Brothers Love Story) Chapter 38

CHAPTER 38 (Everyone arrives at the Hard Rock. As soon as they walk in the girl's mouths drop.) Briana: Oh my gosh. Kerry: It's amazing! Lana: It's huge! Kevin: You like it? Briana: I love it! Kerry: Me too! But I'm hungry, so let's get a table. Joe: Right, let's go. Nick: You coming Lana? Lana: (she was looking into the gift shop [A.N Yes, there is a gift shop where you can get t-shirts and stuff] because she thought she saw Miley again.) Uh, yeah. Sorry, I thought I saw something... Nick: Well, come on. Let's go get a table. (he smiles at her) Lana: Yeah, sounds good. (So everyone gets a table on the second floor. [A.N Yes, it has 2 floors. IT'S HUGE! There's a picture in the video at the end.] They sit down and start talking. The girls soon forget all about Miley, Aly, and AJ and just have a great time with their boyfriends. They start to get really loud though and the waiters have to keep asking them to be quiet. Soon their food comes and they eat. When they are done, they leave and decide to walk around City Walk.) Briana: That was awesome! Thanks Kevin! (she kisses his cheek) Kevin: No problem. (he smiles at her) Kerry: So, what do we do now? Joe: I heard there are some really nice dance clubs here, I thought maybe we could go to those. Nick: Uh, Joe? Joe: Yeah? Nick: (points to Lana) We're 15. Do you really think we can go to that? Joe: Well, you can go somewhere else. Us 4 can go to the club. Nick: Fine. Come on Lana. (they walk away) Kevin: Where do you think they are gonna go? Joe: I don't know. Come on, let's go. (The 4 of them walk to the club while Nick and Lana try to find a place to go.) Lana: Wow, I hate being 15... Nick: Don't worry, we will find something to do. (they walk by the NASCAR Café) Hey, let's go here. Lana: We just ate. Nick: It says it has an arcade. Could be fun. (he puts his hand out) Please? Lana: (smiles) Fine, come on you dork. (they walk inside) *With the other 4* (They get to the club and Joe was right, it was really nice. [A.N I have no clue what they are like, just fyi.] Joe takes Kerry out onto the dance floor and they start dancing. Kevin and Briana don't feel like dancing so they go sit down.) Kevin: Can I get you anything? Briana: Nah, I'm ok. Kevin: Ok, well I'm gonna go get something to drink. I'll be right back. *With Joe and Kerry* (They are having the time of their life dancing together. Joe pulled her close to him and they danced to "Don't Stop the Music" [A.N I needed a fast song and that's what I thought of. So it's in the video]. Joe put his hands on her waist and she wrapped her arms around his neck. They kept their foreheads touching and then, Joe kissed her. It was a passionate kiss but not like a mad hot passionate kiss. Soon Kerry pulled away and looked up at Joe.) Kerry: Wow... Joe: I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that. Kerry: No, it's ok. I don't mind. (she smiles at him) Joe: Oh, well, in that case... (he leans in and kisses her again.) *With Nick and Lana* (Nick and Lana walk into the arcade part of the restaurant. They look around in amazement because it's huge. [A.N It is... lol they have a freaking motion simulator that is AWESOME!]) Nick: Wow, what should we do first? Lana: I don't know... how about the motion simulator? Nick: Sounds good. (They get in and are laughing the whole time. They get out and play a few more games then Lana gets a text.) Nick: What does it say? Lana: Kerry is telling us to meet them at the boat docks at 11. Nick: What time is it now? Lana: 10:30. Nick: So we have time for a few more games. Lana: Totally. Let's go! *With Briana and Kevin* (They finally decide to dance. They have an awesome time until Kerry comes up to them.) Kerry: Time to go. Briana: Are you serious? Kerry: Yeah, we are gonna go back to the hotel and watch a movie. Briana: Fine, let's go get Lana. (Briana, Kerry, Joe, and Kevin all walk to the boat dock to find Lana and Nick, Nick with his arms around her from behind. They walk up to them then take the boat back to the hotel. They decide to go back to the boy's room and watch a movie. All of them walk upstairs and the girls go into the room.) Kevin: You guys ready? Briana: Totally, let's watch the movie. --------------------------------------------- Eh, could have been better. I kinda ran out of room. Lol Anyways, the next chapter will be up tomorrow. What is Rat's Nest? A: Rat's Nest is a massive level set in the corridors and tunnels of a Human Base near Kilimanjaro. You may recognize parts of it from Halo 3's Campaign mode. Effectively, it's a giant Oval, kind of like an underground NASCAR track, with lots of vehicles and plenty of tunnels criss-crossing the center area. It's designed for big team games, Objective and Slayer, but also works brilliantly for game types like Infection and Territories. What is Foundry? A: Foundry is a very unique map -- designed from the outset to be the most customizable Halo 3 Forge map ever created. It's a large Warehouse, which can be empted quickly and then rebuilt any way you like, with a brand new palette of objects such as walls, ramps, Mancannons and more. Stuff you never had access to before and objects that can be used to create fully functioning level designs, rather than simply altering our existing map. What is Standoff? A: Standoff is a big-ish symmetrical map, great for Team Slayer, excellent for Objective games and big enough for a couple of vehicles. It has locked-down Bunkers for bases and lots of cover for players trying to make their way from one base to the next. Although some say it has a similar feel to Blood Gulch, the geometry and terrain is very different.

THE MOVIE OF THE CENTURY

Here's the 2005 (yeesh, what a long time ago) Goessel Cross Country video. It's already been up on YouTube thanks to Tehrocket, but just in case you haven't seen it... Wow. Watching this now, I can see that we really covered all of the bases of a sport-oriented video. We've got 'Ready, Steady, Go'-the one song that has been played with every sport on the planet, even NASCAR, which probably isn't a sport-we've got the Chariots of Fire music, the boring trophy awards scene at the end, and even the dull "Congratulations on a Great Season!" thrown in there. Ha! I sure do love ALL THE CORNEY STUFF YOU CAN DO WITH TITLES IN WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER! Don't you? Yeesh. Looking back, this is pretty hokey stuff, even for me. Oh well. Two years ago is two years ago, so...yeah. Man, I suck at reminiscing.

WJRL Talladega 2007

Yeah, I spelled "Talledega" wrong in the opening. I also wrecked out my teammate. Rough day at the track I guess. Anyhoots, the race was won by an oval track master, Cruizer219.
